Return & Refund Policy

Service work is not a boxed product, so "returns" look different here. This page sets out exactly when money comes back to you, and how fast. It applies to all work by ClimbSmart Plumbing & Electrical Sdn Bhd.

1. If the fault comes back under warranty

Rework, not refund, is the first remedy: report the recurrence within the warranty period (90 days for repairs, 12 months for installations) and we return to fix it at no charge, normally within two working days. If the same fault recurs a second time and we cannot make the repair hold, you receive a full refund of the labour for that repair.

2. Deposits on staged jobs

For jobs taken with a 40% deposit, the deposit covers parts ordered for your job. If you cancel before parts are ordered, the deposit is refunded in full within 7 working days. After parts are ordered, we refund the deposit minus any special-order items that cannot be returned to the supplier — and we show you the supplier documentation for those items.

3. Parts we supplied

Unused, unopened standard parts we supplied can be returned within 14 days for a full refund of the part price. Installed parts follow the manufacturer's warranty: if a part fails within its warranty, we handle the manufacturer claim and the replacement labour is free within our workmanship warranty window.

4. Customer-supplied parts

We install customer-supplied fittings, but we cannot refund or exchange them. If a customer-supplied part is faulty out of the box, our labour to install its replacement is charged at half the standard rate.

5. Cancelled bookings

Bookings cancelled more than 4 hours before the appointment window carry no charge, and anything prepaid is refunded in full within 7 working days. Cancellations after the crew is en route may incur the inspection fee; any prepaid amount above that fee is refunded.

6. If you are simply unhappy with the work

Tell us within 7 days of completion. We will send a senior technician — not the one who did the job — to inspect. If the work falls short of the quoted scope or accepted trade standards, we redo it free or refund the shortfall. If the work is sound but you have changed your mind about the scope, the original quote stands.

7. How refunds are paid

Refunds go back by the method you paid, or by bank transfer for cash payments, within 7 working days of the refund being agreed. You will receive a credit note by email for your records.
