Cookie Policy

Last revised: 14 June 2026

This page lists everything climbsmart.my stores in your browser. The honest summary: it is very little, and none of it follows you around the internet.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text entries a website asks your browser to keep, either until you close the tab (session cookies) or for a set period (persistent cookies). Related technologies such as localStorage work similarly and are covered by this policy too.

2. What this site stores

Strictly necessary

  • PHPSESSID (session cookie) — issued by our server to protect the booking form against forged submissions. It holds a random identifier only and expires when your browser session ends.
  • cs_consent_v1 (localStorage entry) — remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, so the consent window does not reappear on every page. It stays until you clear browser data or change your choice.

Optional

At present climbsmart.my sets no analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated first and the consent window will ask you again before anything optional is stored.

3. Third parties

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Font requests reveal your IP address to Google as a technical necessity of serving the file, but Google does not set cookies through the font service. No other third-party content is embedded.

4. Changing your choice

Use the Cookie Settings link in the footer of any page, or the round settings button at the bottom-right corner, to reopen the consent window and change your answer. You can also clear the stored choice through your browser settings, which resets the site to its first-visit state.

5. Blocking cookies entirely

Every modern browser can block or delete cookies. Blocking the strictly necessary session cookie will prevent the booking form from submitting; everything else on the site will keep working.
